AuRei - Wall Plaque

The first of a set of three dragon wall hangings I'm doing.

Made from clay and metallic paints, this dragon reaches 7" tall from horn to bottom of neck.
There are nearly 300 scales on this one, minus the bumps on his face.
The eyes use regular paint, then are glazed over to give them a more realistic sheen

I've been asked this question a couple of times: "What's up with the crack on his face?"
It's the style of nose I like to draw. Most people don't like it, so I tend to stick with the more common snouts.
What it is, is a break in the scale and hide to reveal a soft moist skin. How he breathes is by absorbing oxygen in through that flesh.
